Opinions please! What do you think of these chairs?

I do like these chairs - I just don't know how I'd integrate them. I bet they'd look good in an all white interior though with accents of bright color. What do you think?

Segovia and Castle Alcazar

Here are some pictures of the sites I've seen in Segovia so far!

Pictures of the famous castle here, Alcazar, taken by Chris. If it looks familiar it's because people speculate it served as inspiration for Walt Disney world!

The doorway to the master bedroom!

Detail of some castle furniture

The gorgeous castle chapel ceiling.

This chair was beautiful - a simple structure, but the detail was ornate.

At one point the castle was an artillery school - these were some jars on display, I believe they hold materials of some sort.

Some of the original wall in the castle.

The famous aqueduct - it's been immaculately restored - and absolutely no mortar was used in it's construction.

A cultural festival took place this weekend.

I just thought these were cute.

A sample of beautiful rooms from 2008

I'm sure like most of you, I cannot believe it is 2009! It feels like just last month I decided to start up Decorology, but time does fly when you're having fun. I thought I'd wrap up 2008 and welcome 2009 with a selection of rooms from this past year- some familiar, some maybe not so familiar.
All of these images I pulled from my flickr photostream. Enjoy!
