My dining room, er, nook in my living room, is really in a sorry state so I'm hoping some of these images get my butt in gear and give me some ideas for sprucing up the space!
Gorgeous table - and right by a cozy fire!

So pretty. I'm considering a round table for our space. Even though round tables aren't the best use of space (ie: not great for tight spaces), I feel like they are more intimate.

Love the modern pendant hanging from the medallion.

A clutter-free and warm home of a Toronto artist
It's often a bit hard to find a home that is minimal and clean but not cold or sterile. This cozy home is a carefully edited space of meaningful objects.
The artist, Cylene
She keeps a rotating art wall, and displays collections, such as the cameras you see here, but the space still feels airy.
The kitchen is so cute.
The artist also let the folks over at Covet Garden tour her studio. I always love seeing a studio because I majored in ilustration and spent many years among other artists in their studios.
Her beautiful, whimsical paper art

Furniture wishlist
So I don't have space for most of these beauties, but maybe one day I'll be able to add a few to my collection..
A color statement dresser. I kid you not my dresser as a kid was extremely similar. Like most of the furniture in my bedroom I assumed my grandfather had made it. Being that the dresser was shared among four small children though, the dresser was pretty banged up and covered in stickers...
via Ivy and Piper
The french chic upholstered piece. Works in so many spaces

This porcupine quill-framed mirror. Need I say more?!?
via Real Simple
via The Nest Mag
The Scandinavian sideboard or console. The mother of all clean design.
via BHG
The bold print chair. I don't care for the frame being painted blue. But I'm loving all the bold upholstery I've been seeing.

The velvet chaise lounge. What girl secretly (or openly) doesn't want one

Absolutely fabulous living rooms from our dearly departed Domino
Luckily, more and more great online mags have been popping up. However, I still miss Domino mag ...
such pretty colors...
This white and tan living room is one of my all time favs...
I think this adorable space is Rashida Jones's apartment...
Love this REAL vintage living room, which one a contest. It's the apartment of the super talented Lara of Piewacket
light and pretty and feminine

House tour: A lovely Swedish home in black and white...
This home is so pretty - I definitely have some home envy going on. I could never be so disciplined though, as to only buy things in black and white. I'm bad about that - If I like it, it could serve a purpose, and I can afford it, I buy it. I worry about it fitting in (and sometimes not) later.
I'm digging the birch(?) branch!
How about you? Are you good at sticking to a color palette in your home or do you stray?

A bright and airy home filled with reclaimed beauties
This home is gorgeous on it's own - but discovering that it's filled with reclaimed furnishings and architectural elements makes it even prettier.
Love the table with the mid-century chairs.
Such a pretty workspace!
I'd love to have a sliding door like this one day
can't go wrong with a crisp, clean white bathroom

The home office/studio of one of my favorite graphic designers/bloggers
Designer Fabien Barral's blog, Graphic Exchange, is always my go-to site for design inspiration when I'm starting a new project and feel a little bit of designer's block. He has a way of finding the most stunning work being produced in the graphic design world - especially when it comes to typography. It was no surprise really that his home office, which he shares with his wife in the countryside of France, is as equally inspiring.
Separate work stations provide lots of work surfaces, and in my humble opinion, one can never have too much surface area...
The plants are a nice touch... I have three in my space
One day I'll have space to have a separate table for pencil/ink/and paint, and a separate desk for my computer...
Make organizational tools like filing/storage that are out in the open pretty, and somehow visually cohesive - love these.
Lovely office right? I know I'm a bit jealous. You may also know Barral from Harmonie-Intérieure, a home-decor stencil company that does some really unique wall stencils. I did a post on them years ago.
